It is a IV generation enterosorbent that use combined composition:
high-dispersion silicon dioxide and microcrystalline cellulose.
High-dispersion silicon dioxide has a unique affinity with protein and lipid-protein toxins.
High-dispersion silicon dioxide sorbs both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (up to 10 billion of microbial cells per 1 g of silicon dioxide) and leads to their death. ilicon dioxide also protects gastrointestinal tract not allowing pathogenic bacteria to attach and penetrate through the mucous membrane.
Secretion of toxins from vascular system to gastrointestinal tract and following absorption take place passing the way of concentrated osmosis. That's why enterosorption efficacy is comparable to hemosorption. Silicon dioxide application lets remove system toxic syndrome and normalizes level of bilirubin, urea, middle molecular peptides etc.
Microcrystalline cellulose adsorbs bile acids, bilirubin, cholesterol. It stimulates intestinal motility well and thus helps prevent constipation.
CARBOWHITE provides extended sorption effect targeted to pathogenic bacteria, endogenous and exogenous toxins, allergens. All of them are effectively adsorbed and removed from intestines.
The composition of CARBOWHITE assures no constipation effect that is proper for many typical sorbents.

What are the contra-indications?
Intolerance of any individual component of the product, peptic ulcer, active or exacerbated peptic ulcer, ulcers and erosions of intestinal mucosa, gastrointestinal bleeding, ileus.
What is the technology know-how behind CARBOWHITE?
The traditional method of forming tablets from silicon dioxide leads to a loss of significant proportion of its sorption activity. A unique technology with pre-granulation has been developed to avoid this; the technology is patented (No 4184, the Ukrainian national register of patents for utility models on June 10, 2009).
Original combination of fine dioxide silica (authorized for use in food industry) and microcrystalline cellulose for production of food supplement is protected by patent.
In general, there are 4 invention patents that are related to production phase.
Silicon dioxide is used as key substance. This substance is taken from Evonik (Germany) in high-dispersion form and assures smooth spherical particles with a sorption area of up to 400 m2/g.
